Provon perineal ointment is designed to be used after the perineal area has been washed and cleaned with Provon Perineal Wash. Provon perineal ointment is a moisture barrier and ointment that helps protect red,irritated skin. It is formulated for delicate skin with petrolatum,lanolin,and Vitamins A,D,&E. Use Provon perineal ointment: for temporary protection from skin exposure to urine and feces,to leave a protective moisture barrier after cleansing,and to help maintain healthy looking skin.To use, cleanse the perineal area( perineal area is the area around the gentials and buttocks) with Provon Perineal Wash. Apply a continuous film of Provon Perineal Ointment as often as necessary. Provon Perineal Ointment shown here comes in a large 7 oz plastic tube, which is easy to dispense from.
