Fiber Therapy Uses Restores and maintains regularity. Directions Adults: Stir 1 tablespoon into a glass with 3 or 4 ounces of fruit juice, milk, or water or mix with soft foods such as applesauce, mashed potatoes, or pudding. Can be taken up to 3 times daily if needed, or as recommended by a doctor. Generally produces effect in 12-72 hours. Children 6 to 12 years; 1/2 dose 2 or 3 times daily.
